On the occasion of World Biodiversity Day, we invite you on Sunday 22 May to a great species census day on the Old Charleroi-Brussels Canal. A veritable green and blue corridor within the Senne basin, the Old Canal is a haven of peace and nature.
Come identify and encode all the species you encounter! We welcome you to our stand at lock 24 in Seneffe from where many naturalist guided walks will depart, taste bread-sausages/vegetarian at noon and drink a glass of friendship from 4 p.m.!
The full program for the day, with details of the guided walks, information for encoding and a map to find your way around, can be found here: http://www.crsenne.be/wp-content/uploads/2022 /04/22-may-bioblitz-sur-lancien-canal.pdf
We expect that this day will be a success thanks to your presence, thanks to you we will perhaps reach the 300 species observed!
This great event is organized thanks to the motivation of the teams of LIFE Belini, LIFE RIPARIAS, the regional Natagora Haute-Senne, the PCDN of Seneffe, the CR Senne and the SPW.
