The aim here is to use samples taken in a number of places to investigate the impact of the precipitation that runs off roads in both Flanders and Brussels.

A sampling strategy is being worked out in Flanders and has already been initiated in Brussels With the results from these preliminary studies, a purification structure will be developed at the intersection of the R0 and E411 roadways with the Ijse river (Flanders).
